Tech Tip – Using “Debug” To Clarify Why ChatGPT Came To Its Conclusion

If you want to understand why ChatGPT provided a certain response or want to find out how it arrived at its  conclusion, you can use the “Debug” command.

Here’s how:

• Go to ChatGPT by clicking here: Introducing ChatGPT (openai.com)
• Click on the "Try ChatGPT" button
• If you have an account, sign in, if not register then sign in
• Click on the "+New Chat" button at the top left of the screen
• Type your question or request in the "Send a message" box at the bottom of the screen
• When you get your reply type "Debug my question about the xxxxx" where xxxxx is the topic of your question
• You will then get the results
