Tech Tip – How To Use Google Translate To Check For Any Mistakes In Your Content

Did you know you can also use Google Translate to check your digital content for any errors and mistakes and you can use it to read back your content so you can hear what it sounds like when someone else reads it aloud.  

Here is how to do it:

• Open your web browser
• Search for Google Translate or click here
• Copy your data (up to 5000 characters at a time)
• Paste it into the left hand window in Google Translate and ensure the language selected matches your data (we will assume English)
• Click on the speaker icon (it is called Listen if you hover your mouse over it and it will only appear once data is in the text box) at the bottom left hand of the left hand text box with your data in it
• Listen to your content and make notes of any changes you would like to make
