Tech Tip – How To Use Google Chrome's Link To Highlighted Text Feature
What do you do if you have found a specific passage of text on the web and you would like to share that specific text with someone else? Google Chrome now has a built-in function that allows you to share a link with someone else that links directly to that text.
Here’s how to use it:
- Open your Google Chrome web browser
- Browse to the web page with the text you would like to share
- On that page, highlight the text you would like to share
- Right click on the highlighted text
- Select "Copy link to highlight" from the menu
- Share the link it has created
