Tech Tip – How To Use Chrome As A Drag And Drop File Viewer

Did you know that you can use Chrome as a single application to view different file types, such as images, text files or PDFs so there is no need to open multiple applications to view various different files.   

Here is how to do it:

• Open Chrome
• Click on the + to open a new tab in Chrome
• Drag and drop the file you want to view in the new tab, Chrome will open it and allow you to see the contents
• This can work for documents and text files, PDFs, images and most video and audio files as well
