If you have a nice long list of Bookmarked sites in Google Chrome and it is not really in any sort of order, did you know that you can use "Bookmark Manager" to sort your bookmarks into the order you want and help you get organised, lake it easy to navigate and find things
Here is how to do it:
- Open Google Chrome
- At the top right hand side, click on the three vertical dots
- Move the mouse to Bookmarks and it will expand the sub-menu and select Bookmark Manager
- This will open a list of your bookmarks, there will be a list of folders on the left and the bookmarks in the current folder will be surrounded by the a border
- Right click on the border of the bookmarks and select "Add new folder"
- Give the new folder a name - Such as "social media" or "news" or what ever the group of bookmarks are
- Drag and drop the relevant links to the new folder to sort them out
Note - you can nest folders, so have folders inside folders, for example, you could have a top level of "Social Media" and sub folders such as "Meta", "X", "Sina" etc... and then in each, have the relevant links, for example Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Threads into the Meta folder etc...
