Tech Tip – How To Capture All Of The Contents Of a Long Web Page Screen In Chrome

Did you know there is an easy way to capture long web pages in their entirety, for various uses such as for presentations, or for inserting into spreadsheets or documents or just to get all of the information from a website for later consumption.  With Google Chrome there is a built in tool to do this.

Here's how to do it on a Windows PC:

• Open your Google Chrome web browser
• Browse to the page that you would like to capture in its entirety
• Press the keys CTRL-Shift-I simultaneously, which opens the developer tools. 
• Press CTRL-Shift-P simultaneously to then open the command menu on the right hand side
• In the menu, next to Run> type 'Screenshot" and from the list of options that come up, select 'Capture full size screenshot' 
• This generates a screenshot image as a PNG file that is saved into your downloads folder
