Tech Tip - Get the latest news and information at your fingertips in Windows 11

Windows 11 has widgets, which are small applications that run in real time in the background and can perform all sorts of functions and provide different information.  One of the widgets is the news and information widget, which provides real time information about the news, weather and other personalised information that you choose to configure, here is how to do it:

• On the task bar, move your mouse over the weather icon 
• This will open the News and Interests 
• Click on the setting cog wheel, and select personalise and click on feed
• Here you can select what you see in the news and information window
• Select everything from the list of feeds that you want to see

Then each time you want to see the latest news and information, just hover your mouse over the weather and information icon and all of the news and information you have selected will appear and you can scroll through and select which ever catches your eye.
