Tech Tip – Changing Your WhatsApp Wallpaper Background

How would you like to be able to personalise each chat session you have by using the picture of the person as the background for the conversation?  Ot maybe you would like to brighten up an otherwise dull WhatApp experience. It is really easy to change the background of each of your chats from the default to something more your style.

Here is how to do it:

• Open WhatApp
• Open a chat conversation you have been having with someone
• Depending on the version of WhatsApp either tap the three dots OR tap on the contact name at the top of the screen
• Select Wallpaper 
• Choose from the options you are presented, either Bright, Darl, Solid Colours, or from your Photos
• Select the image you want to have as the background
• Adjust it to meet your preferences in terms of size and which parts if the picture to use
• Once you are happy with the layout, tap on Set
• Repeat this process for each chat background you wish to modify
