Tech Tip – Free Online Image Editor

If you are in need of a photo editor there are a lot available online. In this tech tip we will talk about one called Photopea.

Photopea has lots of features and functionality and the best bit is, it's free to use!

Photopea allows you to edit photos, apply different filters and different effects, allow you to add and place text, crop and resize pictures and change orientation, all in your browser.

It also works with PSD files (native file format for Adobe Photoshop) and you can export your image in a number of different image file formats including png, jpg, and pdf.

You can also link it to your Microsoft OneDrive, Goole Drive or Dropbox. Photopea also offers its own "PeaDrive" cloud storage.

To try Photopea:

• Go to https://www.photopea.com/
• Drag and drop a photo in and give it a try
• Down the left-hand side are image editing tools
• Across the top are menu options and transformation controls
• To start using click on the Learn menu option (top right) and go through the tutorials to get the most out of the editor
