Microsoft officially launch Cloud for non-profit
Microsoft has formally released Microsoft cloud for non-profit into worldwide general availability as part of Microsoft's Technology for Social Impact Program. The program was made available worldwide on 2nd November 2021.
Microsoft has developed a series of tools and workflows in Microsoft 365 to allow Non-profit organisations to:
- Know donors and supporters
- Deliver effective programming
- Accelerate mission outcomes
- Secure donor and program participation data
What does this mean for non-profits?
Well, it means that charities can now maximise their in house data and use the tools that Microsoft has developed in conjunction with industry leaders help increase donations and the number of donors, target specific groups with specific campaigns, manage volunteers, and benefit from additional levels of securing organisation data. All within the same security environment making it far easier to collaborate and leverage all of the organisation data.
This in on top of the $3,500 annual Azure grant, 10 Microsoft 365 Business Premium licenses and zero cost Microsoft 365 E1 licenses.
