Tech Tip – Instant Google Search From Highlighted Text

If you are reading from a web page or blog in the Google Chrome browser and you come across a term or item you would like to know more about, Google has a built-in way to search for that term quickly and simply as a result of when you highlight the text with your mouse.

Here’s how it works:

• Open the Google Chrome Browser
• Highlight a word or term you would like to find more information about
• Right click with the mouse on the highlighted text
• Select "Search Google For" which includes the term you have highlighted
• A new tab will then open with Google presenting the results of the word or term you want to search for
