Tech Tip – Set Pages To Open In Different Tabs Automatically When You Open Chrome or Edge
If you'd like to save time by automatically making your most often used and/or favourite pages load at start up when you open Google Chrome or Microsoft Edge,
Here is how to do it:
In Google Chrome
- Open Google Chrome web browser
- Click on the three dots at the top right and select "Settings"
- On the left-hand side, select "On startup" from the menu
- Click on the "Open a specific page or set of pages" radio button
- Click on "Add a new page" and type in the URL of the page you would like to load, keep doing this for each page
- Close Chrome, re-open and check the tabs are loading correctly
In Microsoft Edge
- Open Microsoft Edge web browser
- Click on the three dots at the top right and select "Settings"
- On the left-hand side, select "Start, home, and new tabs" from the menu
- Click on the "Open these pages" radio button
- Click on "Add a new page" and type in the URL of the page you would like to load, keep doing this for each page
- Close Edge, re-open and check the tabs are loading correctly
